Lab or Beagle thread for pics and stories

Mmm... toughie. Labs make great pets but are, well, Labs. They need some room.

Beagles are a bit more active but also make wonderful pets. In a smaller space I'd go with a Beagle.

At the moment I am stuck with a cat who has a deep seated fear of dogs. But at least, everyday, I can rest assured that someone in this world looks upon me with disapproval.

Adopted a Lab from my veterinarian.

She found him running around her neighborhood; owners moved to Texas, & abandoned him.

Lab scared off 2 burglars, who had already begun to pry out a window.

Short time after that adopted a Beagle from the same Vet.

Beagle was a fence climber. Got him home, & put him in the back yard. He climbed my fence & the neighbors fence & was banging their huge Rottweiler.

Soon after he taught the Lab to jump the fence & shared the poon-tang.

My older brother had a beagle growing up. Its name was Beagle. It had a kennel outside and filled it full of shite that my older brother had to clean up. It also barked all night every night. Beagle had to find a new home. The end.

I have one of each. Beagles sure bark a lot but it’s a puppy.
