If I were a betting man, I'd say get ready for a heavy dose of DJ jet sweeps this weekend

Heavy dose?

O/U @ 3.5

At some point they are going to see it coming. We are going to have to put him in that motion a lot for it to be effective.

Would love to see Donte Jackson on that jet sweep, I haven't seen it be effective at all against first two opponents.

I agree because RG has not been getting it done.

I think the main purpose is to make the defense respect it because we use it as a decoy a ton. Allows other plays to work.

I'd say you'll probably see it but not a heavy dose of it.

My guess is a heavy dose of Guice out of different formations, get them to stack the box and blitz, then some slant screens to attack the middle and set up play action.

Or vice versa.

This. It's not an overly effective play. But you force the defense to respect it. If they don't, LSU has the athletes to bust it for a big gain. It's a set up play to hold the backers and safeties just long enough to allow someone to sneak behind them going long (a la Drake Davis the other night)

I think Chark has been so-so at best at the jet sweeps so far. He seems to take weird angles that allow the defenders on the edge to get their hands on him.

That's when you start faking the sweep and/or doing a play action pass. That jet sweep will open up all kinds of options. I would love to see a double jet sweep fake or toss to the weak side.
