Tim Beck is reportedly heading to Texas to join Tom Herman's staff.

This will make a lot of OSU fans happy, as he's commonly been looked at as one of the reasons for offensive regression.

I have not heard anything more than people throwing it out there.

Supposedly OSU is hiring Ryan Day, current 49ers QB Coach, formerly QB coach with the Eagles and OC at Temple and BC (position he'll fill not known)

Beck leaving
Kevin Wilson in as OC
Ryan Day as QB coach

Very happy with this. Would love for Warriner to be moved back to OL.

That would be best case scenario IMO. Not sure how feasible it is.

Pretty big shakeup to the coaching staff with Fickell leaving too.

I like the Wilson hire. Nice to see someone like Urban not be concerned about turmoil and blowback from making the best hire for his program.

Thank the lord. Not sure what the hell Herman is thinking though.

Herman will always have his hands on the QBs so maybe he's doing it for other reasons, since he's a pretty good QB coach

Herman looking for familiar faces instead of the best hire he can make is going to bite him in the arse.

Yikes!
Neither of those teams had good QB development. Good luck with that.

me either but I think Herman is in a very new position for him. he isn't experienced in making hires and seems to be hurrying things up. he brought a bunch of guys with him from UH and seems to be struggling filling the important slots. that's not unusual for a new coach but he's being paid a lot of money and will be expected to perform at a high level. imo, he has a learning curve to go through and he's going to have some rough times. coaching and recruiting are much easier at UH. they recruit the metro Houston area and got players that weren't highly recruited by the top schools but since they played a much easier schedule it worked out. he's in the majors now.
