So is Strong fired or not?

Every other article I read says he's fired, he hasn't been fired, or he's about to be fired. Has UT actually released an official statement saying he's fired?

I heard since Herman was off the table (going to Oregon or Baylor I guess) TX had to go back to the drawing board

He's fired, but not officially. They wanted him to take a resignation deal and coach the last game, but he's refused to bow out and will be fired after the TCU game. He's gone for sure though, it's just not official yet.
