About what year were these photos taken?

Hey guys, I bought a couple cool old prints of Wrigley Field for my condo, but the listings don't have a ton of information about the year they were taken. I figured there might be a history buff or two in here that could clue me in. I figure people might ask questions about them, so I'd like to have the background.
First one, no date range was given by the guy at all. I figure someone will be able to tell approximately when it was taken based on the cars in the picture (I think that metal railing the kid is leaning against is still there).
Second image, it says c1930s. Not sure if anyone has a better idea based on the street cars and other buildings.

People sitting on tree tops is what is holding tthe cubs back. As soon as they get rid of those freeloaders then the cubs will win it all

I look at those pictures and wonder if any of those people aren't thinking "we haven't won the world series in over 10 years...that's some bullshite".

This picture was taken on July 19, 1935, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:22 p.m.

Google Image Search:
First one is '32
Second one is '35

If honorary coonass was being serious, you were right

Who beat the Cubs that day?

The third vehicle, parked along the curb, in the second picture looks like an early 30's Ford. The fourth one is a late 30's Chevy, I think. In the first picture, the Ford across the street is similar to the Ford in the second picture.

Apparently the boys in the tree one is/was a mural on the wall in the outfield and there was a mistake.
"So, there you have it. The photo of the boys in the tree was taken during a Cubs/Dodgers game July 14, 1932, not during that year's World Series."

I am right. The sign gives the opponent "The Giants", the potential dates of the series "July 19-20" - narrows the picture down to that series, which was in 1935. There was a freak thunderstorm on July 20th, and they played the game after the storm on that day. That rules out July 20. (Maybe July 21, but I don't think so - that certainly looks like the game just let out on July 19).
Best guess this is post game exit of the stands, the street cars lined up - if first pitch was at 1:00 p.m. and a 9 inning game lasted 2 hours - give or take 3:00 p.m. - certainly before sunset at 7:22.
Voila.

Surprisingly, the cubs took first place in both of those years. 90-64 (and drew almost a million) in '32 and 100-54 in '35.

I don't understand why Baton Rouge can't get a rail system like Chicago.
