Why is playing the lottery so difficult for people who have never played it?

It seems that every time I go to a convenient store, there is always some a-hole in front of me from Alabama or another state that does not have lottery trying to figure out how to buy scratch off tickets.
Do people not realize that all Scratch off Lottery tickets are the exact same with different themes?
These people stand there for 10 minutes holding up the line trying to buy stupid fricking lottery tickets.
The worst is when I am trying to get to work on time and some a-hole is sitting there thinking about what tickets to buy
It's not rocket science ya know?

Don't go in a convenience store before work. Problem solved. You can pay for gas outside at the pump, and pretty much anything else you get in there is a bad idea anyway.

My office building has a convenience store. I'm the trashiest of the trash, I suppose.
They don't sell lotto though. Just the usual and some nasty looking sushi.

I never go inside the gas station. The inside of them are for poors and people who are too weird to not have a debit or credit card.

I hate being behind someone who is cashing in a pile of lotto tickets, particularly when they are too lazy to check their numbers on line so they have the clerk scan every one.
