Sorry, it just grinds my gears when I hear media types on the radio and TV talk about turnovers. Byrd has a lot of turnovers under his belt, and that's something to catch your eye, but that just means he is in the right spot and can catch. That is more important to me than "we got him because TURNOVERS".

Improving ball skills is a must, which neither Harper nor Jenkins possessed. Knowing where the ball is kind of helps. I also think it will be a result of everyone being comfortable in the system. First year gets everyone acquainted and secure, THEN you focus on being more aggressive towards the ball. And as far as pressure, I felt we had it, but a lot of the time the secondary wasn't in position to make a play on the ball. Just chasing the receiver.

Ticky Tacky call my friend.
Actually creating the turnover is more important to me than having the ability to do so and being in position.
Yes, Grind those gears.

Sure. You can talk about how important turnovers are and be completely ignorant about what goes into them.

I don't know what to tell you. Try it on a computer.

The Hicks and Gallete video work for me but not the Vaccaro video. That's the one I want to see most lol I can't find a Saints highlight of him anywhere.
Edit: NVM it works on a computer.

Better than Saturday morning cartoons. Whatever happened to those anyway?

The Galette and hicks videos makes me think we may draft ILB earlier than people think due to the amount of plays Herring was on the field.
Posted on 3/29/14 at 11:51 am to Isaid
That was an illusion. A lot of those are from early in the year when Herring was the main backup LB(and some garbage time snaps in a blowout). He finished with only 40 defensive snaps. That's less than Haralson(360), Humber(155), Dawson(54 and was added late), and Wilson(41 and was cut early).
That said, we do need to get younger, cheaper, and better than Lofton and Hawthorne in the middle. Neither is good in pass coverage. Keeping Humber is a start, but adding a more elite player there would be great.

Seeing that pick in the NE game just pisses me off.
ETA But it's refreshing to see a CB that actually wants to/can tackle.
