Do major stores like Home Depot honor "do not replicate" engravings on keys?

idk but i remember with Columbine those dipshits had stolen some schools key that said "do not duplicate" but went to HD or some such place and they did it.

Some do, some dont. Try to find the employee that looks like he gives a shite less about his job.

Sometimes you'll get one thats overzealous and takes shite way too serious.

they have an automated kiosk that makes the keys now. So no. You are SOL. rekey or start using an electronic locking system.

They have automated machines where you make them yourself now.

From the replies they have an automated key kiosk now, but I can say that when I tried to copy "do not replicate" keys just 3 or 4 years ago none of the places that I went to, including two The Home Depot's would do it. I was very surprised.

Ive never seen a car key that says do not replicate.
