So Morrow, a minimum contract player, who has been struggling mightily as of late is the best you could come up with as a guy who could space the floor for the pels??? That proves my point right there.

Your record proves my point. You and a lot of posters here act like the spacing he provides is the best thing this team has going. You're a .500 team until you get a center. Playing Anderson at the 3 isn't going to give you the spacing that you value so much. That happens when he's at the 4 - which happens to be the position your franchise player plays. Anderson is a really good shooter but as long as Davis is your cornerstone, he's not a good fit unless you want to give him 20 minutes a game. You'll continue to be a fun team to watch that isn't a serious threat. Anderson needs to be next to a dominant center to maximize his true value. Davis needs someone to body up those big centers.

Agreed we are a .500.until we get a center, I would just rather keep Anderson and get the center in FA than trade him for Asik. It's not like we are going to get a title this year anyways.

I tend to agree, but that doesn't mean Anderson can't play the 4 at all. He and Davis should be the only players that get minutes at the 4.

There are 96 minutes in a game at the 4 and 5. Anderson should be played like we play Morrow now, but he actually works. Davis can play 35 minutes a game, Anderson can play 30 (2 minutes at SF), and a big, defensive, rebounding C can play 33 a game and we'd be rolling. Ryno does more than Smith. Monty's rotation with these scrubs isn't helping anyone.

Anderson is too good of a player to just trade for someone like Asik.

The team hasn't played enough games healthy together to just unload Anderson at this point. Also shuffling talent in the backcourt seems like another possible area of change.

We can find an average center without giving up Anderson.

And no, Anderson doesn't need to be next to a dominant center to maximize his value. He's a much better player now than he was playing with Dwight in Orlando.

Seems every fan base thinks they have a better understanding Anderson than New Orleans. Literally every postgame wrap up I read has to point out how much better Anderson would look on their squad.

The Pelicans are more than fine with Anderson and Davis playing together, because only one team has Dwight Howard.

Anderson is a great 6th man in the rotation. Portland and Miami and Houston all played a 9 man rotation tonight, while the pels played an 11 man rotation. Getting it down to a solid 9 needs to be a priority. The pels are spending time developing player this year, i guess, and trying to find who's worth keeping around.

I don't think Smith, Aminu, or EG are fits if we're committed to Jrue, Reke, Ryno, and AD. Need to turn those misfits into fits.

I just caught the replay. That was an unbelievably horrid final 4 minutes of basketball.

Well y'all have a perennial all-star PF who isn't a center. Anderson plays the same position. Put him at SF and his value goes down a bit because the spacing that some of these tards covet so much isn't as big of a factor as it is when a PF is drawing a big away from the basket.

I'm not saying he needs to go to Houston. I love what T-Jones brings to the table and he will only get better. Just seems to me that Anderson and Davis don't fit that well together.

I thought the same thing coming into this season.

Anderson is carrying this team. Dude is playing lights out.

They need to address the center position by trading Gordon. The team seems more fluid and it runs smoother without him anyway IMO
