I want to get some to do some misc stuff around the house (close in one side of crawl space, steps, etc...). I found some for $0.55/ea. is that a good price?

$350/ thousand and up, you can get seconds and other things from brick yard, can also buy them by the strap so you closer to the quantity you need

Yeah, nice tumbled (old looking) bricks are $385/1000 and the real old reclaimed stuff is about $650/1000.

I would go to acme also. for some reason everyone on cragislist thinks their bricks are worth more than bricks at the store.
