Kahr vs Glock trigger review
I understand preferring one trigger over another but this guys logic seems to be way off. It doesn't seem like a safe practice to hold someone off (that you may or may not have to shoot) with the trigger resting at it's break point. You either pull the trigger or you don't. I have never been taught to halfway pull a trigger, especially in a self-defense situation. I also think he's overestimating the time that it take to pull the extra few millimeters of the Kahr trigger.

Yeah finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire the weapon. The kahr triggers are so buttery smooth that I don't mind the way they feel. I honestly believe its the perfect semi auto for the guy who has been carrying a j frame and shoots it double action.

Check out the hammer/trigger on the LEM HK. You can see (and hear) that the trigger mechanism resets at the click but visually the hammer doesn't have to return and doesn't to the down position. Nutty huh? The trigger pull weight isn't met until you see the hammer about to release, similar to the Glock in the video, you can tell how freely the hammer is moving before then.

I would say the biggest downside to a Kahr trigger is the reset. I carry a Kahr CM9 in my rotation and I love the trigger. I just hate the reset.
But for guys familiar with DA revolvers, the Kahr is the perfect semi auto.

I had a chance to shoot an LC9, and after that, I think I'm going with a Kahr CW9 for my first carry weapon. (I take my class in November, then I have to save up or wait for the tax refund to get my lifetime permit)

This guy is a moron.
He's correct that the Kahr trigger has no reset position, and is thus worse than the M&P or Glock trigger if you've been trained to shoot from the reset position.
But he's a clown who proves my point that 87% of the people who post gun videos on you tube have learned 87% of what they know from the internet.
He's a complete buffoon when he says (a)he would hold someone at gun point, and (b) would have the trigger prepped. Both practices are incredibly stupid.
He, and most of the you tube posters need to go get some real training. There are real gun academies (Clint Smith at Thunder Ranch, Massad Ayoob's MAG40 class, Tom Givens' Combative Pistol course, Andy Stanford's Surgical Speed Shooting class, Jerry Miculek, John Farnam, Louis Awerbuck, et al, just to name a few, that teach real techniques and real tactics.
It's one thing to be a dumb redneck like me, who knows that he doesn't know much. It's something else to be a you tube whiz (literally and figuratively) who thinks he's an expert.
What a bunch of tools.
