So GD stupid. when is customer service, particularly at a ff restaurant, not an "act"?

that's the entire point, moron. to get your employees to "act" like they actually care about the customer and their needs. the fact that CFA does that routinely, at every location, is nothing short of miraculous considering their employee base. I don't care which industry, there are very few companies that do it as well as they do. Christ, they host seminars for other f500 companies on how to provide that service. they are damn good at customer service, and thats b/c the ceo made it part of his business plan, not b/c he read it in the bible.

Not sure if it has been brought up, but the franchises are strictly controlled. Some of the stipulations that attribute to the experience...

At max, two franchises per owner.
Owner must put in at least 40 hours per weeks
No outside ownership of a business by owners

Franchise vs Corporately owned?
The ones in Laffy are Franchisee.

BTW, I tend to visit Popeys regularly, especially when I need a boost to the old self esteem.

This is their secret.

Compare to Burger King where the franchisees have way too much power and basically revolt if they don't like something. Also why there can be a huge difference in quality/service from one to the other.

The point was that CFA goes above and beyond to try to keep their holy image clean...also the only ff place you hear about holding charities and benefits and what not.

u seem mad tho

I love Chick-Fil-A's service. It's so nice to hear Welcome and Hello every time you walk in. Also the manager/owner is always on the floor or behind the counter helping out.

I've noticed another business that's like this is Firehouse Subs that just opened on Corporate. My husband and I went in to eat a couple of times and everyone greets people and the owner is on floor working and making sure the customers are attended to properly. I told my husband the service reminded of Chick-Fil-A.

The one by my house in Laffy is the same. One exception, the manager has some really goofy looking false teeth.
