It's just hard to really see how great he is often because it's very subtle. Also, it doesn't help he needs to play 35m-40m, while Birdman can go all out for 15m.
But they're both great for the Heat in different ways, obviously.
i can agree with that and i do realize Birdman is a "role" guy but his performance in the playoffs does give us some talking points about the Heats future..

They have been to the last 3 championships and won the most recent two.
Wade will retire with the Heat. He should.
LeBron ain't going anywhere.
Bosh is doing just fine.
I wouldn't change them up at all. Maybe wade gets less minutes.

theoretically yes, but throughout the playoffs birdman was more efficient and the heat had a better +/- when he was on the floor...
the +/-, in the finals at least, has mostly to do with wade off the court. lbj without wade had absurd off and def ratings. bosh rarely plays without wade on the floor. switch bosh for bird and I would bet they get similar results.
wade was an offensive liability for them. even last night, he took some awful shots. to his credit he made them but they were the same shots that almost sunk them in game 6.
neither guy is getting moved, but if we want to play make believe, I would bet miami trades wade before bosh (focusing only on the basketball and taking nothing else into consideration)

Bosh for Kevin Love and call it a 3 peat already
This. KL >>>>>>>CB
LBJ back to the CAVS with uncle drew would be hard to beat though

Kevin Love has had 1 and 1\2 good years of basketball. Get that shite out of here.
Kevin Love and Chris Bosh are the same player basically. They put up great stats on a shitty team. If they brought Kevin Love to the heat he would bring the same offensive game as Bosh but worse defense.
CB > Kevin Love

That's why we live in America. It's all opinions
I just would like to see Love on a better than average team...i.e the Heat

I say no. Bosh is their only real trade asset but he brings a lot to the team so it's unlikely you'll be able to flip him for 2 players that both adequately replace him and brings you the other front court help you need.

Keep Wade, send Bosh and get a legit big man.

I've still never understood why people think they need a plodder down low. I guess people are attached to their historical ideals of basketball.
Realistically though, the game is changing (changed already). A "true 5" is a dinosaur. Even guys that we think of as the best centers in basketball these days are usually pretty mobile, athletic and can run. Many of them can extend out and shoot, even to midrange sometimes.
I guess the notion is that they need a "rebounder" but the Heat players and coaches talk about this all the time. They rebound by committee. They don't need a guy to snatch 20 a night, because they have 5 guys that can grab 6-8. Almost everyone one of their 5 starters can board... which allows them to get running quicker.
The Heat aren't winning just because "LeBron is the best player in the world" either. If that was true, LeBron would have had several rings in Cleveland. They've built a great team with a lot of really sound role players.

The team around LeBron is much better than it was in Cleveland, is anyone debating that?
Replace Lebron with any player other player in the league, they do not win the Championship this year.
I said you can not automatically assume a team of three NBA All Stars will win a title.
This team ultimately works because they have a player that is in a very small and elite group of players, All Time.

I think that's a large part of it, but they also work because they've built a system and perfectly targeted the right type of players to play in it.

No denying that. This years team is built leaps and bounds better than it was year 1 of the Big Three experiment.
They also are getting some of these role players at a discounted rate than everyone else, which I think bothers a lot of people.
