So a friend of a friend is selling a Ruger .22 model 01137. It's being sold at a really good price, and I don't have a .22, so this sounds like a no-brainer for me. However, I've googled this model but can't find anything on it. Have any of you heard of this model?

I don't know what that is but it doesn't correspond to any .22 guns ruger ever made that I can find.

Are you sure that's not the serial number? Looks more like a serial number than a model number to me.

ETA: Can you snap a picture of it and post it here? Might help ID it.

Is it a pistol or rifle? That will help up narrow it down. Have you seen a pic?

Revolver, single action or semi-auto?

Not 100% positive it's not the serial number. He says it's the model number.

It's a rifle.

I called this guy, trying to get some more info and a picture.

That's definitely not a model number

Ruger only has a few .22 rifles.
sr-22
10/22
77/22

Might be something older but not sure what it would be.

I think it is a model number, but maybe not a current model number. Here's a website with a list of 10/22 model numbers very similar to the one the OP is asking about.

I think the 1137 may be the model with the "boat paddle" stock, but not sure.
