I'm really excited to see this kid play.

Bring on the preseason.

Yeah. Now that we addressed LT & NT, I like the KV pick more than I did. Great draft so I don't mind our first being used on the supposed best safety in the draft. Goodness knows we need a playmaker in the secondary

It's going to be fun. Position battles are going to be very intriguing

I know you can't judge a player by the way he does an interview but KV is a very sharp kid. Seattle Pro Bowl Safety Earl Thomas is KV's former teammate and mentor. If he is even half the player of Earl the Saints got one hell of a bargain

If JJ hadn't been there it wouldn't have been nearly as bad. I went full retard

When KV goes off this year and someone bumps the hate threads I will bump my apology thread from the sober next morning

I hope this kid plays lights out...I love good secondary players. Hopefully he can be the safety we have all been hoping for. Ryan must think highly enough of the guys in house to not take Jones, because I thought he was a lock to us

KV was a good value pick despite Jones still being on the board. He wasn't the "sexy" pick many wanted (LB, DE, DT) but his projected ability to cover the TE's probably tipped the scales in his favor.

Sounds about right. He absolutely improves our secondary. Not a bad pick at all.

Rosenthaal is a Tulane alum and saints fan. What do you expect?

Again, it means nothing, but Steeler fans on their main site were pretty split on Jones, with a decent number of them saying they wish Vacarro was there.
