I have my Brew Crew franchise where I play 1 of every 6 and I'll try to get through 3 or 4 seasons and I also have a franchise with the Royals here I uploaded a Bo Jackson CAP and I'm going to try to play through all 162 games over the next few years and try to get them to the postseason. Might not buy the game next year.

Just got it today and I'm working on my RTTS. SS that got drafted by the Indians ( ) made MLB in year 2, and I'm playing one game per series

working on improving my online rank. I think when I stopped playing last night, I was ranked in the 500's. My record is like 40-18 or something like that.

I am also attempting to win a ranked game with every MLB team. I think I am about half way completed.

My SS was drafted by the Indians as well and I share your sentiment. I play every game and I'm mid-way through year 2 in AAA. My numbers are solid but I am definitely struggling to hit home runs.

I've also put in two trade requests but no dice so far with 3 weeks to the trade deadline to go.

I started a season with the braves... Played every game so far (all star difficulty) & I'm 31-11.

Haven't started RTTS yet but I'm sure I will. We're also about to start an online franchise in a week or so.

I started an RTTS a while back. I am a 2B and got drafted by the Pirates. I played roughly 40 games in AA before getting called up to AAA. I spent about 10 games in the AAA system with the Pirates before getting traded to the A's. Once I got to the A's, I spent about 20 more games at AAA and got called up to the Big Leagues and i've been there ever since. Finished up my rookie season a week or so ago, and won the AL Rookie Of The Year.

Is it easier to hit on 13 and it was on 10? I haven't purchased the game since 10, but I still play it.

In 10 I went with a pitcher in rtts bc I couldn't hit.

MUCH easier... I think it's too easy. Every game I play online is a 7-5, 9-4 type of game.

I think I'm going to pick it up.

What attributes do you guys build up as a SS/2B first?

contact and plate vision.

Contact should be pretty obvious but Plate Vision gives you the large yellow circle (PCI)

My franchise is 30-team control, but I run the Astros (all other teams set to auto-control on everything to let the CPU run them). I was playing every 6, but after getting through 2 months and getting my butt kicked in every game, I changed things up a bit. I still control the Astros roster, but play other teams games. I'll just pick one day per week, look at the schedule to see all the games being played that day, and pick the most interesting game to play. Once I get close to the playoffs, I will pick one team that's a couple of games out of the wildcard and play their last week or so to see if I can get them in the playoffs. If I can, then I'll play with them throughout the playoffs. If I cant get them in, then I'll just pick another team in the playoffs to control in the postseason.

And again, I'm still only controlling the Astros personnel. So all throughout the season I am still making their roster moves and my offseason will be spent building them.

In franchise mode do you have to play 162 games or can you set it to a lower number of games?

I like to play a franchise--as many games as I can. I play with the Cubs and trade the players I hate, like Marmol and Soriano...I think I traded Marmol to Kansas City for Louis Coleman and Soriano to the Red Sox for Anthony Ranaudo.

Yes, it HAS to be 162 games, but there are many people out there who pick their own type of schedule (play one, sim 4), etc...

I usually pick one game per series, but if I don't like the pitching matchups, I will just sim it.
