Yes we absolutely would have won the ship.

Giants dodged a huge bullet and they knew it.. and we saw how vulnerable the Pats were.

Time to make more historical history this season!

Yep, Thomas never came back in and passes to Sproles out of the backfield pretty much became our running game.

I say...

Don't confuse last year's 49ers defense for this year's defense. Last season they gave up nothing on the ground but that isn't the case this season. Teams like the Seahawks, Giants & Rams have had success running against them. The worst thing the Saints could do offensively Sunday would be to abandon the run & become one dimensional.

Its going to be key to get Graham & Sproles matched up one on one in open space in the passing game

Example

that DB never had a chance.

Sproles on that RB slant route is going to be huge in this game

My favorite was the one he caught for Brees to break Marino's yardage record

In a close second is the play he scored on against the 49ers in the divisional playoff last season

That play is deadly against linebackers

Yep because Sproles already has a head of steam from the moentum of his route and can pick the space he wants to run to while the saftey has his back to the open field.

Sproles skill set is the most unique in the nfl. Blessed to have him in black and gold

That was truly a thing of beauty. Hopefully we see more of that Sunday. That clip was bittersweet in how that game ended up turning out plus seeing Payton on the sidelines. Man it would be nice the offensive mastermind game planning & on the sidelines for this stretch run.

No worries man

Its like you said, Sproles & Graham give their defense a tough time. And unlike last time we played those frickers, we have ALL of our running backs healthy. I'm not saying we are gonna run the ball down down their throat but Drew won't have to throw it 63 times like he did the last time we played them.

I mean come on, look at the last 4 offenses they've faced.

Seattle
Arizona
St. Louis
Chicago

Do Y'all think Sproles can run those routes Cadet was getting chunks of yards on? Like where Cadet goes in motion real fast catches a WR screen and has blockers ahead of him, or a he lines up out wide and runs a fly route?

I feel like if we don't see Ivory. Then Ingram goes back to being shitty

Ever wonder what Ingram would run like if he was being paid Ivory money? He would run like he was possessed.

I think Cadet is improving weekly. I think, however, if it had been Sproles on that kickoff return, he would not have been run down.

I wish they all could stay active, and even with Cadet's promise, I'm guessing he's the one who'll be out of the loop.
