action and fighting sequences were sick, there were a few loose ends and plot holes. And drawn out story which is kind of an oxymoron. but the action scenes are amazing if you in to massive bad asses ravaging people in slow motion.

Almost saw this today. I went to see Tower Heist instead. I liked Tower Heist, but the ending was a little abrupt.

Those were my two options. I didn't feel like stylized hyper violence.

Just left it. I liked it as far as an action movie. If you go in there expecting an academy award type film you have no business having an opinion on movies at all. As far as kick-assness goes it delivers.

I don't give a frick what anyone else says, the final 30 minutes of that film might be the coolest shite I have ever seen in 3D. The final fight scene is well worth the 12.50 I just paid. They made the gods into fricking beasts but were still very much flawed. Mickey Rourke is a fricking animal. I can't say enough, I know a lot of people in the theatre were pissed because the story was slow to develop and there weren't many fight scenes at the beginning, but I think this just made the ending that much more climactic. This movie better win some fricking Oscars for the visuals, because the entire flick was amazingly shot.

Did you watch it in 3D? I agree that the first half of the movie was slow, and 300 is one of my favorite movies of all time, but the last half of this movie was fricking amazing

I went and watched the movie tonight. The actions scenes were just awesome.

Also, Freida Pinto is freaking smoking hot.

Did everyone see it in 3D? Would it suffer if not seen in 3D? I hate paying the extra money, but this seems like a movie that might need it.

I'm sure the shots would still look fantastic without 3d, but imo if you are going to see any movie in 3d why wouldn't it be one that looks this badass?

If you have to watch a movie in 3D for it to be good, then it's not the movie that's good but it's 3D effects.

Two totally different things.

Saw this yesterday. Really enjoyed it and left with only one problem. All of the gods looked identical, and none of them used powers specific to thier identities. When I left I had no idea which gods were actually in the movie, except for Zeus, Athena, and Poseidon. It showed atleast 3 more male gods, none of which had any distinguisable characteristics, or lines for the matter. They were just... there. Cinematography was outstanding. The storyline was pretty straight-forward. Lacked any real plot twists. But overall, it was a fun, enjoyable movie. Also, the costume designer should be recieving some awards. Some of the armor was just straight up badass.
