LSU's 4-1 week began with a nice midweek win against Southeastern Louisiana but ended with an upset loss to Princeton (playing its first series of the year), snapping the Tigers' 11-game winning streak. Jr. OF Mikie Mahtook hit his sixth homer of the year Friday in support of Fr. RHP Kurt McCune (6.1 IP, 3 H, 2 ER). Fr. RHP Kevin Gausman (6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K) improved to 2-0, 2.55 with a 22-4 K-BB mark in 18 innings with Saturday's win. LSU nearly overcame an 8-1 deficit with six runs in the eighth Sunday before its comeback ran out of steam.

The 3 in the title are generally the most valued. College Baseball 360 will put out a composite poll tomorrow, which includes all 6 polls plus a strength of schedule formula. That's the one most people should look at because it is an average of all polls.

The BA poll has always been the outlier, when there is one. that's because it's one guy (i'm not kidding), probably sitting in a broom closet with a stack of newspapers and an abacus.

Agreed. I think Collegiate Baseball is probably the least reliable.

Would agree with that. BUT, LSU is ranked highest in that one so I didn't want to ruffle any feathers around here.
