Early May Rec on Places in Europe

0Anyone have a good recommendation for a place to spend 4-5 days anywhere in Europe during this season? I'll be returning home from a business trip and my wife (no pics) will be with me. I've spent time in Paris and Barcelona, so somewhere besides that. TIA.

Big international airport with tons of flights, and you really only need 3-4 days for it, can do side trips to towns in the Netherlands or to see the tulips depending on timing. Beautiful city.

Or, my vote would be to go to Slovenia. Base in Kobarid and tour the Alps, WW1 Battlefields. That time of year you could probably go rafting on the Soca River.
