When I cancelled Cox a couple of years ago to move to ATT Fiber, the poor girl on the retention line sounded like she hated her life. She knew there was literally nothing she could offer me, but she had to go through her silly script anyway. frick Cox.

Just switched from Cox to AT&T and am saving $80 per month. The Internet speeds are basically the same

Is this for new customers or are bills going down on their own?

Switched to AT&T Fiber about 3 months ago. Best move I've made for the speeds I'm now getting and money I save monthly. I get about 980-990s Mbps up/down. Oh, and the unlimited data is great. No more charges because my kids are streaming/gaming.

If it applies to you, you will need to call and have them adjust your bill under the threat of you switching. With Cox, you can sometimes go online and see what new customers in your neighborhood would pay for similar services; and if the price is drastically different Cox MAY match it for a year
