I get being pissed about Diggs and Jacobs. But no one should have been starting Bass with the way weather was being reported. And even with Diggs, expectations should have been tempered some.

Up 0.4 and have Jacobs, benched Dhop for Mostert at least mostert scored more than Dhop.

Lineup:
Herbert
Chubb
Jacobs
Mostert (flex over Dhop)
AJBrown
DJ Moore (played him over Dhop too, first time I started him since week 3)
Kelce
TB DST
Succop

One of my lower scoring weeks but fortunate nuf to go against Tua and Aaron Jones. Will start Herbert tonight to avoid loss via stat correction and keep fingers crossed. Opponent is done.

This isn’t a brag post. I just wanted to share the ups and downs of my season after reading some of the comments.

This is my 8th season in this particular league.

I went Kupp and Diggs in the first 2 rounds

Went Zeke in the 3rd
then Pitts, Jacobs, A. Gibson, A. Cooper, CEH, D. Pierce

Started the year with Stafford at QB and landed the Patriots D with my last pick (scooped up Dallas D along the way.)

Sitting at 2-3 grabbed Tua off waivers (he was in concussion protocol at the time) and traded Zeke, Gibson and Pitts (IR) for Kenneth Walker and Tee Higgins (Chase injury hadnt occurred yet but I had no WR depth outside of Kupp/Diggs and Pitts wasn’t doing much)

After 2 weeks of streaming tight ends I traded Amari for Hockenson

I was able to build this lineup:

Tua
Jacobs
Walker
Kupp
Diggs
Hock
Higgins/Pierce
Cowboys D

Kupp goes down Week 11 so Higgins became my WR2. Since then I also lost Pierce but snagged Akers as a replacement (slim pickings on the WW at that time - week 13)

I finished the regular season 11-3

In the semifinals I rolled out this lineup:
Tua (10.40)
Jacobs (6.00)
Walker (12.50)
Diggs (4.60)
Higgins (26.80)
Hock (35.90)
Akers (34.70)
Titans DEF (4.00)
J. Sanders (8.00)

I said all that to say this; this was by far the most fun I had managing this year because I took some risks and they paid off. A strong draft will only lead you so far so you have to make a trade or two and be the first one to the wire every time.
No Kupp, No Pierce, duds from Diggs and Jacobs but I set myself up to sustain it.
