NFLPA and NFL soon are expected to agree to new protocols in which any time any player demonstrates any instability, he is not allowed to return to the game. The rule could go into effect as early as week 5.

This is too over reactionary.

Obviously trying to get out ahead of any potential lawsuit. “Look how much we care we made this ridiculous new rule”

Return at all? This seems like an insanely wide net to cast unless they better define instability.

All of their “action” is merely performative until they do the things you mentioned. Truthfully, Thursday night games should be done away with all together if they actually cared about player safety IMO.

The NFL is like a Dim

Create new rules because they can't seem to enforce the ones already created

So we want to give more power to the over-emotional pearl clutchers and easily offended types who don’t watch football, anyway?

They should raise the roster number to atleast 60 so they have more subs to keep the players from getting so much wear and tear on their bodies.

Another way to subjectively or arbitrarily effect an outcome of a game.
