Look, I like a good white guy as much as the next white guy. I just don't think Herro has much more upside. I think we've seen all he has to offer.

Yes.

Can’t play defense, can’t really dribble, and can shoot here and there.

A 20/5/5 guard who shoots well is valuable, but I don't see how else he can become 28/7/7

I think it’s hard to say that a 22 year old has definitely peaked, but who knows

He may have taken A. J. McCarron‘s title for worst tattoo so he is peaking in that area

The defense thing is gonna be a problem for him when they play good teams, particularly the playoffs. Boston was hunting him aggressively. when you’re getting switched into the primary defensive role every possession and trying to keep a bigger, more athletic player from getting to the basket, and then go back on offense where your game is predicated on a lot of running and moving without the ball to get open, that’s got to take a toll on you physically. Happened a few times that series, once Spo could see his shot wasn’t falling that night he’d pretty much burry him on the bench the rest of the game. He’s a limited player.

He’s 22 years old and averaged 21/5/4 last season for the team that finished with the best record in the East, he’s definitely not an all NBA type player or anything, but he’s not a scrub.

At worst he’s a very good sixth man, at best he’s a second or third option on a good team.
