Wife and I are going look for home appliances tomorrow. Looking for Thor kitchen appliances and Speed Queen washer and dryer. Any stores in the Baton Rouge Gonzales area that deals with both of these brands? TIA

We just ordered both from Stantons in Baton Rouge. The washer was in stock and took home that day and oven hasn't arrived yet, its been 3 months.

Do you mind me asking what you paid for a whole kitchen appliance package, refrigerator, cook top, wall oven, dish washer, microwave, exhaust hood and washer dryer?

Comeaux should.

I like Thor uses Viking parts.

Gorman Bros in Prairieville. Definitely carry Speed Queen, pretty sure they carry Thor.

Ended up going with the 36 inch range/ wall oven, microwave, refrigerator w/ ice maker water dispenser, dishwasher and hood for about 10k. Didn’t buy washer and dryer. May end up going with Maytag or Whirlpool. Looked at speed Queen but not excited about the smaller size. Rather a bigger wash load size.

Where did you purchase from?

I’m interested in 36 inch Thor gas range to replace a Vulcan commercial, particularly in light of Napoleon’s (appliance repairman guru) comment above in this thread.

I went to lowes. I went to Stanton’s first, got my total then just wanted to go to lowes to see if there was some sort of July 4th sale. What I was told by the salesman is that since Thor was not a widely sold brand like kitchen aid or Samsung, prices were pretty much set at all places that sold Thor. He gave me my total and it was the exact same as from Stanton’s. Decided to go to lowes and got 24 months interest free.

A bit farther south but may be worth a call to see what's available and at what price.

I deal with Barto's Appliances on Airline Hwy. in Metairie. If buying a few appliances, check out their prices and it may be worth the extra drive.
