Carpet grass problem: Celsius beyond spot treating in high heat?

Carpet grass has slowly popped up over the last couple of years in the yard. It is to the point where it's all over and beyond spot treating. Is it safe to treat a whole yard with Celsius in the high heat we are experiencing? (Baton Rouge) Concerned with centipede taking collateral damage.
TIA
TIA

Did mine with Celsius last week including one small patch of Carpet Grass. Carpet Grass is turning very yellow. The centipede is looking just fine.

Put down a Celsius/Sedgehammer mix last Friday on a bermuda/centipede mix. Weeds starting to yellow and grass looks fine.

Just follow Celsius label directions and centipede will be fine. You may see a little temporary stunting of centipede but it will recover.

You're fine however consider this: if you have big bare spots weeds will continue to be an issue. Sodding in the summer can be done but that depends on that amount of water you feel like paying for.
