Had to go to work, just glad to see some clutch hitting! I’ll keep bixtchin if we keep hitting like that when it matters!

Anyone who complains about this team hitting should be laughed off the board.
When you say, "keep hitting like that when it matters," do you mean like a 2 RBI single to center field with two outs, followed by a 2 run bomb?

Again it is not hitting as a whole, but situational hitting. If you watched the first 5 innings of last nights game, or the first and third auburn game you can see that we have issues scoring runs in situations when we need to. Yes hitting as a whole is not a problem, but if you have runners on base with no outs you should be able to at least move them. I’m happy about the win, but you cannot admit that is not an issue.

Not to mention you had Ms States pitcher going over 100 pitches, and we still couldn’t barrel a ball. I’m glad we got the bats going when we did, but there have been 3-4 games this season where we didn’t in the end and lost.

Agreed. 1st and 2nd no outs with your two best hitters coming up and them both striking out can’t happen. We have to capitalize on opportunities early in games. You’re not always going to get a 2 out rally in the 9th every time your down a run.
