Xbox one headset: Razer Kraken 7.1 or Turtle beach recon 200?

Trying to figure out which one is better, both are around the same price on Black Friday. Any advice?

I have the Turtle Beach recon. It’s solid for the price, good volume control. May upgrade soon but it’s a good headset

Stop what you're doing and buy this
Phillips SHP 9500
and this
Mic
Headset is on sale for $60 and the mic is on sale for $25. I've had Turtle Beaches, Astros, and HyperX and this headset is by far the best, and it's really not close. It came highly recommended by some on this board and I'm really glad I got it instead of another "gaming headset" from one of these other MFGers

I have the Steel Series Arctis 9 wireless for my Series X. Love it. Much better sound/build quality than my other turtle beach and hyper x. Check around and see if you can find a deal on it if you don't want to drop $200

Earlier today I bought a turtle beach recon 70 because it was on sale. I am not very happy and will prob just give it to a friend then follow the advice bamabenny gave or shell out for a top notch headset

I just got the razer black shark v2 for $70. Has a usb sound card built in to the cord. Pretty nice when I bet most people don’t realize they don’t have a sound card and their sound is coming from the motherboard. Pretty cool.
