This just feels like a wonderful reset of the program

Orgeron was a new head coach, but it never felt like the program had a reset after Les Miles. It went through changes in culture a bit (for better or worse) and offense changed, but we had so many of the same coaches, same issues in the locker room, etc. Just felt like a new coach, same program.
This just feels different. And I’m fricking here for it.

It's a good reset of the major athletic programs. Wade is bringing in top talent, and winning. Jay brings his best player over from Arizona, addresses other immediate needs, and hits the recruiting trail like a mad man. Mulkey will have that ship righted pretty quickly. Then, you bring a guy with the stature of Brian Kelly. I'm feeling brand new.

Mulkey, Johnson, Kelly... competency.

I hate to say it....but he is so similar to Saban it's scary. I think he brings the same success as well.

How refreshing is this press conference? I'm even more impressed the longer it lasts. Highly intelligent and well spoken!

He just quoted Saban....it's about process, process, process.

Again lol, LSU has been a top tier program and won 2 national championships the last 15 years or so, and that was with 2 absolute clowns as head coaches. Kelly will do great things here.

Brian Kelly is a true professional. Knows what he wants, and willing to work for success.

The last time a coach had a clean and momentous start like this was 21 years ago with Saban.

I agree. I just hope people are ready for players/commits to leave. What Kelly is talking about is a complete culture reset from where we are now. Much needed, but there will be some breakdown before it’s built back up.

I know what you mean...It just feels "right".I'm very excited for this new fresh chapter.
I was a kid when Saban was hired so to me it was something like: "Who is our head coach? Is this Saban guy someone new? How come I'm seeing this guy all over the media".
Miles was quirky and fun and I loved the in your face run the ball till it stopped working. O was... interesting. But it did feel like more or less a continuation.
