Episode 9 is nuts

It’s starting to get like TNT day time drama level over the top, which I enjoy but I could see someone seeing it as the worst show

Yeah that was the moment I was like “okay this show isn’t going to turn into the Wire but atleast now I know exactly what it is”

There is a lot of logical leaps you have to make to get to this point town built on the entire prison system but doesn’t have any solid lock down procedure besides running down a small hallway directly towards the armed prisoners. And I’m pretty sure two guards getting murdered at the same time in two prisons would be reason enough that any warden would lock that prison down. Like I don’t even think it would be his decision, that seems like something that’s just standard policy

Plus somehow the armored guards with long range weapons gets cleaned out by a bunch of dudes in prison gear because apparently they had enough guns in some lockers for the entire prison to be armed. Then you have a random guard holding a key that goes to every door in the prison apparently?? And he’s in a room with like 4 inmates that aren’t locked up at all and I think the number of inmates outnumbered the number of cops/guards in that room. Plus they decide to knock out the two main characters while decisively murdering every other cop or guard (and leave them with a gun and ammo) because…main characters ya dig?


Really bad writing, but hey I’m here for it. Give me more deranged Renner, you gotta compete with Superhero movies and TV content that get to bend whatever rule or logic they want with screen writing magic and plot armor, might as well fight fire with fire :lol:
