I hope the reports are true that BK is bringing his S&C guy. Moffitt is not what he used to be. I remember watching the ND/ Georgia game in 2018 and thinking that ND’s line on both sides of the ball were very active, strong and well-conditioned. I was jealous.

I appreciate the past work of Moffit, but it's time. Maybe we find another role for him.

I think he stays on staff in some capacity. The guy is an institution at LSU and he has done nothing to deserve getting canned.

What is the setup currently at ND?
They have a "Director of Football Performance" and a "Director of Football Strength & Conditioning".
Matt Balis - Director of Football Performance
Jacob Flint - Director of Football Strength & Conditioning

I think Jacob Flint comes with BK as he is a former player of his & been with him since CMU, I believe.
Maybe Moffitt gets a promotion to "Director of Football Performance" and the young guy takes over for S&C.

Apparently Kelly's Strength and C Coach does not do olympic lifts. All HIIT stuff - comes up with random workouts to push them.

Not sure if it all falls on Mofitt but LSU hasn’t physically dominated other teams like in the past, especially this year but it started a while ago. The 2019 Team was dominant but it was thru speed & fitness.

Which is why I am fine with Kelly bringing in his own S&C guy...

I mean… I watch a lot of LSU football. Our D Line has done an honorable job this year, and our O Line did well in 2019. Outside of that, when have those position groups produced in the last ten years. Everyone got an award in 2019. It was the best football team, probably ever. But I wouldn’t say O Line or D Line were the strengths of that team. I think it has a lot to do with S&C.
