Peterson - while it was his dream school, he turned down a number of other jobs that were higher paying. And you still had to get the deal done.

Jimbo to AtM was a coup. And I’ll disagree, it was a great hire. To take a coach that won a title from that school and sign him to a long term contract is huge.
I do agree he overpaid.

Stealing Mulkey was an absolute coup. She built the Baylor WB-Ball program. Won two titles, that was solid.

I disagree about J Johnson. From what I know, he was one of the top 3 candidates from the start. He also rebuilt Arizona to be a powerhouse in the PAC-12. Dude was a home run hire in my mind.

Woodward may have swung and missed in LR but he didn’t show all of his cards.

Because he was holding out for UW.

It's not some coup to hire a guy at the one school he'd leave his current school for. That's like the most baseline level of expectations.

Jimbo has sucked while being paid like an elite coach. It was a shitty hire, he overpaid, and only go the shitty hire by overpaying.

He overpaid for a WBB coach. It literally doesn't even register on the radar.

Because y'all believe anything SW does is great. Of course you will bargain to where his hires (who haven't done anything) are great. Hell, you're defending him hiring Jimbo
