Bringing Peterson to UDub
UW was Peterson's dream school and the only one he'd leave Boise for. It wasn't some big coup.

Jimbo to $AtM$
That was a bad hire. Possibly really bad. Also he overpaid a ton for that hire and that's the only reason it happened.

Mulkey to LSU
Oh wow, we overpaid for a WBB coach. PRINT THE SHIRTS

J Johnson at our doorstep.
A 3rd/4th option at a lesser sport. Again, great?

Peterson - while it was his dream school, he turned down a number of other jobs that were higher paying. And you still had to get the deal done.
Jimbo to AtM was a coup. And I’ll disagree, it was a great hire. To take a coach that won a title from that school and sign him to a long term contract is huge.
I do agree he overpaid.
Stealing Mulkey was an absolute coup. She built the Baylor WB-Ball program. Won two titles, that was solid.
I disagree about J Johnson. From what I know, he was one of the top 3 candidates from the start. He also rebuilt Arizona to be a powerhouse in the PAC-12. Dude was a home run hire in my mind.
Woodward may have swung and missed in LR but he didn’t show all of his cards.

BULL shite. That is absolutely wrong. Absolutely.

Aggie would disagree to the point they extended him for a lot more than 7. While most on here saw it as overpaid for a min, the market caught and passed him due to the length of the contract. Turns out it was a bargain for a National Championship coach.
quote:I bet you shop at Harbor Freight. You want quality you don’t go shopping at a junk store. She is a 3 X National Champion and already has changed the culture in a few months. Look around for a min before you open your trap moron at WBB coaches salaries. Now look at ASSES IN THE STANDS.

quote:I know you’re telling. He was NEVER the third or fourth option. He had his team in the CWS and has just signed the number 1 recruiting class. All things point to him as being an excellent coach.

Hey dip shite what would pay Fisher what the money people said to do. Whatever it takes. That was not Petersens dream job. Next year dumb arse will use the excuse that his kids were in school, is why he would not move earlier, because you are probably too stupid to understand they can transfer.
