I’m intrigued at this point and love the drama. I do have a source on the OU side so that’s why I didn’t think it would happen.

LSU would be getting a home run hire if true.

The only part I don’t get is why they would announce it win or lose? I mean has a coach ever announced he’s leaving the week of playing for a conference championship?

fair enough. I think the OU side has been blind to this whole thing to some degree.

I’ve never claimed sources here although I do usually get info a day or so ahead of any breaks depending on social/professional calendar timing.

However, I DO have dependable sources with OU and I can say that any info there has been like a black hole. Info hasn’t been leaking there through this whole thing. No confirmation. No denial. Nothing.

Has a coach ever accepted to be the highest paid coach in college football by another team before a conference championship?
