Love the Tigers, but no way are they the 2nd best team in the nation right now. Before the season, I'd have said it'd be the offense holding them back.

The defense has shown it can be had against two of the worst offenses in the nation. There needs to be marked improvement before they head to Fla.

Your an idiot. We beat the teams were supposed to beat, which 3 former top 5 teams cant say right now, and we beat a pretty good Auburn team.

Do you realized USC, Florida, Georgia and Wisconsin lost yesterday? USC lost to Oregon St, Florida lost to Ole Miss and Wisconson to Michigan. Do you think any of these teams should be ranked higher than us?

I agree with they ned to be a marked improvement before they head to florida for sure. They could work their way to being #2, #1, but not so far. I would say, theyshould be around #7 right now. Our young defense overall has a ways to go, but the talent is obviously there.

Well, the beauty is with Bama we'll get to see if you know anything in Nov.

And if you think Missou is better than LSU, you need help.

yes and yes. They have both looked more complete so far this season. We'll have our chance to take care of business against Bama though. Mizzou will have to play OU. Still a lot of football to be played this season.

Defense definitely needs to improve. MSU obviously found a weakness. We have 2 weeks to work on it and Beckwith, Alexander, and RJF should all be back in the mix by then though. I think we will fix the problems.

wow, one down performance coming off a huge win (obviously there would be a let down this week) and the wheels are starting to come off. i don't think we're mnc material this year, but i hope the players don't share some of yall's attitudes.

The presure of jumping to fast, with all the expectations, etc....it is as much mental pressure as it is physically ....

Is it even Possible to be underrated when you're #2??? I see what you're saying and actually agree, but nonetheless it's pretty much obvious when a team is ranked #1 or #2 that they're "likely" overrated. There's too much parity in college football now.

I know what to expect here with a board full of blind homers.

If you were on the ouside looking in, and had a shred of objectivity you'd agree.

Auburn and MSU exposed some weaknesses and they are hapless offenses.

Auburn looks like a 4 loss team, so I gotta say that LSU hasn't beaten anyone yet.

Can you honestly say Bama should be ranked higher than us? Clemson was overrated, Tulane gave them fits, Arkansas sucks and maybe just maybe Georgia is overrated. Bama is good, but until LSU losses or Bama beats us we should be ranked higher than them.

You talk about our defensive struggles and then talk about Mizzou without mentioning how awful their "defense" has been.

Bama should not be ranked ahead of LSU to this point, I agree 100%..I am very glad the game between those two teams is in Death Valley...this year.
