I'm leaning this way too. I think the jury is on the cusp of an acquittal. The holdout jurors are hoping to make a compromise for conviction on lesser included offenses just to keep their houses from being burned down and their kids beaten up at school. Still, if true, this is a slam dunk on appeal.

Evidence is obv a huge deal. Exculpatory evidence bigger deal. Exculpatory evidence withheld with bad faith a bigger deal.

Non prosecution of Grosskreutz for illegally concealed fire arm used in a criminal act.

What's the law? I can't remember any trial being allowed to be decided by the jury once it was known the prosecution withheld exculpatory evidence. The jury can't come to ANY fair conclusion with evidence being withheld.
