I think the worst case scenario for LSU fans is if Auburn wins the Iron Bowl, and all A&M needs is a win over lowly LSU to clinch the West to go play Georgia with a potential CFP berth on the line, and lose. Then Woodward has a press conference 2 days later to announce Jimbo the new LSU coach. Who just lost. The biggest game in his A&M tenure. To the guy we just shite-canned.

Honestly, I know you can’t make hires based on 1 game. I totally get it. But even if Bama does win the Iron Bowl and clinch the West, and the LSU game is only the difference between A&M going 9-3 and to the Citrus Bowl or 10-2 and going to a NY6, and they LOSE. To a fired Ed Orgeron team basically put together by duct tape? I don’t think a Jimbo hire is gonna go over so well after that. May not go over so well anyway, but still.

We’re not talking about this scenario nearly enough because it could totally happen. Not going to happen unless Nuss takes off, but if he does things get interesting with Jimbo as a candidate.

That would be a horrible look lol.

People tend to forget, they will probably lose at Ole Miss tomorrow and will be completely out of the SEC West race.
Then after we beat them, he will be 8-4
