This even applies to sound quality. Most people are using Bluetooth with an AAC or SBC codec, and using MP3s as their media. This format just can't touch a "metal" tape with good Dolby noise reduction.

Then use wired earbuds and rip your own high bitrate mp3s and enjoy quite literally a thousand cassettes worth in a smaller package with no ff/rw or tape flipping/swapping.
