Hands down the best decade. But those albums were on cassettes. We'd blast some Jam On It and the On the Nile tape in our Walkmans.

DYK... EL and Too Live Crew played a concert in Lafayette in 87?

Yes. They came through Baton Rouge too. They played at the River Center in the exhibition hall. My brother and his friends went. I was a little too young(12).

We got NWA in Monroe in 89 baw.

I graduated HS in '90 so I kind of formed my identity in the late 80's. My buddies and I kind of gravitated to the outdoors and we all got into hunting/fishing/camping out (excuse to drink all night with no curfew)/riding 3-wheelers/hydro-sliding on the bayou. However, our passion was duck hunting and for that reason I am gonna have to give a slight edge to the 90's since we were coming off some shite duck seasons in the late 80's.
