just FYI... Rekieta considers jury selection "day 1" while everyone else considers opening statements "day 1"

that's why Rekieta is at day 7 while everyone else is at day 6

Let’s hope today provides equal enjoyment to yesterday. I’d imagine state is running out of people that will embarrass them

prosecution HAS to be finished soon... and then I imagine... considering yesterday's events... the defense's presentation will be very short or they may even rest without presenting one

If there is reasonableness in this court, the defense will ask for a directed verdict of Not Guilty ( as soon as State rests) and they SHOULD receive it.

This has been a farce.

frick them.

As soon as the defense rests, the judge needs to grant a directed verdict of ‘not guilty’, and immediately refer the DA and his prosecution team to the Wisconsin bar for sanction.

These corrupt motherfrickers had no case. At a bare minimum, they should be made to face the loss of their livelihoods over what they’ve done to this kid.

And this is why if possible the judge should go ahead and grant the directed verdict the defense will ask for after the state rests.

Why put the jurors at risk knowing the state has done little if anything to attempt to show they ha e a case…

Not sure about that. As abysmal as the prosecution has been, there is no dispute that KR shot the guys. So I think they will need to present a case that he was in reasonable fear of great bodily harm to justify the self-defense requirements.

Uh, the prosecution's witness did that for them yesterday.

This was done yesterday in about the most thorough way possible, by the prosecution’s witnesses.
