a lot of people talking about how low in the sky it was - depending on location and angle of course. But that's a good reminder that not everybody realizes how close space really is. We're talking 60 miles up. The ISS orbits 220 miles above the ground. Draw a line on google maps that's 220 miles and then think about standing that line up to point into the sky. Space is really close.... you just gotta go sideways really fast to stay there (orbit)
