we have 12 days left of youth hunting before rifle opens for adults...the only problem is these 2 deer are in the woods where we have only a climbing stand hung.
would love to have either of these be a first deer for a kid. we have an unused 2 man ladder we could put in the spot for just such a thing.
we'll se if we can't get that done on Wednesday.

I definitely wouldn't put a kid in that climbing stand to try and kill one of those deer. Not because the kid couldn't handle it, but if you are only getting midnight pictures of them what makes you think they are just going to be in that spot during daylight hours just because you take a kid?
