If our defense is as good as everyone says it is, it shouldn’t matter.

I see what you are saying, and maybe the same thing could’ve been achieved if Stills didn’t stretch for that last yard, but this game is on the defense.

Atlanta is a horrible franchise that does not win close games. We had them down with a minute to play. That’s our game to win if the defense is worth a damn. Also, we had a fumble that Atlanta outfought us for which has been a constant theme with our team the last few seasons.

Remember the Super Bowl team could scrap for and recover a loose ball. We have different personnel on this team. We’ve had a good 4 years but when the ball is on the ground, we are the weaker team with less will to win. It’s happened time and time again the last few seasons.

Same thing last week vs TB there was zero reason to give Brady that much time thankfully he threw the pick six, but he should have not had the opportunity. The giants game was lost on defense because we didn't close out the clock up by 11 and were snapping the ball with 15 seconds left if kills me. We run the clock down to 2 sec each play we walk out with a win.
If nobody has the balls to tell him he is deficient at this aspect of the game I will volunteer to explain how to manage the clock.
