No dominant team

This season looks kinda like last in the sense that there is no 1 dominant team. Looks to be 5 or 6 really good teams, good enough to knock one another off at any given time. Its obvious USC isn't head and shoulders better than everyone else. OU is very good. We will have to be reckoned with. Fla. & Georgia, Missouri, all look really good. Also Penn St. Thoughts?

That giant sucking sound you hear is everybody latching on to Zero U's cock! C'mon TCU!

Agree 100%
Still too early in the season to tell though.

And I like it this way. So that no one team gets :asskisser: by the media.

What has OU proven to this point that USC hadn't proven before last night? Maybe they were both just high profile programs who got overhyped after a couple of meaningless blowouts of bad teams. And yes, Ohio State was a bad team.

I also like our chances.

Is anyone else foreseeing the SEC champ vs. Penn State in Miami?

Atleast we don't have to root for #2 South Florida to lose this year

I think it's too early to tell if there is a dominant team. If someone, particularly in the SEC, runs the table, I would damn sure call them dominant

While I like Penn State, the odds are with OU.

Penn State will benefit from a weak schedule. If they can beat Ohio State on the 25th they have a good chance of going 12-0. However, they only have one top 10 team on their schedule (Wisconsin). I hope the voters and BCS computers can see through their weak schedule.

If Lee continues to progress...even modestly...and becomes dependable...LSU could be that dominant team...we have good team leadership and chemistry again...I think that the coaching has something to do with that!

if Penn st makes it, they will get crushed by an SEC team. Oklahoma looks good, but they always look good in September.

There's alot of football left to be played yet.

If any of the top 10 teams were to play against each other three times, they would drop 1 out of 3. The benefits that the Big 12 and SEC gain are that we actually play alot of top ten teams & THEN ADD A FINAL SECCG (TOP 10 TEAM), our strength of schedule vastly outranks a PAC-10 / BIG 10 schedule. So now that USC has all but removed itself from contention unless there are a bunch of two loss teams, PSU or Wisc are both faced with the same delima USC would have had to face. Does a no loss big 10 team have the strenght of schedule to be ranked ahead of a 1 loss SEC/Big 12 Conference champ? NO WAY. Even if you wind up with a 1 loss SEC Champ and a 1 loss Big 12 team, they would both be in ahead of a no loss Big 10 team.

quote:Far too early to suggest this. All we know so far is that if there is 1 dominant team, it isn't Ohio State or anyone from the Pac 10, ACC or Big East.

i dont know i think OU is legit. but i can see the big 12 sorta b n like the sec this year. where the teams beat up on each other.
and i like wisconsin a lil bit too.
but even if the winner of the sec is a one loss team i still see them getting in the ncg.
