Would you ever agree to field sobriety tests or agree to blow at the station?
I would never, under any circumstances, agree to SFST. Never.
A single "drink" (defined as a 4oz glass of wine, a 12oz beer, or a single shot of 80proof, modified further for high ABV beers, etc) raises the average person's BAC .02%. The human body processes alcohol at a rate of .015% per hour. If I multiply total drinks by .02 and length of drinking in hours by .015, subtracting the latter from the former, and come up with a number of .05 or lower, I'm happy to blow after the required 15 minutes observation period in which I have nothing to drink and don't belch (doing either resets the timer, as it brings deep lung breath up into your throat, which artificially spikes your BAC). Any higher and I'm letting the kindly officer know that I'm uncomfortable answering any questions, or doing any testing, without first speaking to my attorney.
But that's just my personal preference and should not in any way be construed as legal advice

That's a lot of math to do when I'm drunk.
