1/2 PPR league

We have a superflex spot where I can start a 2nd QB. Have Herebert with Brady on bye. I picked up Taysom off waivers and with him not starting I’m looking at other options. I have Higgins and Emmanuel Sanders that I could start or I could drop Taysom for another QB. Who would you drop Taysom for if I pickup another QB? Options are:

Jimmy G
Darnold
Fields
Big Ben
Tyrod
Love
Ryan
Siemian

I was actually leaning either Tyrod or Love. Tyrod is probably the most logical but, I could easily see Love having a coming out party giving the situation with Rodgers and knowing he’s basically a lame duck QB. Tyrod just doesn’t have anything to work with really other than Cooks.

I would go Jimmy G. Should have to throw quite a bit against Arizona and just torched the bears. Fields also torched the Niners defense so they are not as good as they have been. Should be pretty high scoring game.

Tyrod actually has a pretty low ceiling. The last time he started he played super conservative. He has some rushing ability so keeps his floor high but he like to dink and dunk.

Love has a high ceiling but absolutely no floor.

I’m playing the last place team but they played Moore and Hines Thursday night. I need average to high scoring this week. Can’t afford a poor score from a QB.

Tyrod
Love
Siemian

In no particular order.

I'm high on Siemian. He was an NFL starter for two years and is working under Sean Payton.

I picked up Jimmy G. Do you think that’s still the right decision?

Am I crazy for thinking that Taysom still may outscore those options even though he isn't starting st QB? He's still gonna be involved in the offense and could see some goal line touches. He may end up starting next week. I wouldn’t want to drop him if I didn't have to.

I think you're fine either way.

Jimmy G is the more seasoned starter.

No, I actually thought the same thing but ultimately decided it was too big of a chance to take. He won’t clear waivers until tomorrow since I dropped him.
