Tell the truth, the Good, Bad and Ugly

If Jimbo fisher is the best solution we are in trouble. Way too much money and overated for 1 NC as a HC that was similar to LSU 19'NC (stacked talent.)
Actual good Hires are Aranda, Fickle, Riley and Dabo.
Possible hires but less likely, Mark Stoops, Kiffen, Franklin, Napier and Tucker. Either of these are taken a chance and LSU has money to not take chances, so I say Doubtful. Franklin is showing true colors late in season, as is Kiffen. Tucker isn't proven enough yet, neither is Napier and PJ Fleck is more proven then them both of them, but nobody wants to give Fleck his credit. Stoops is the only likely hire out of this level.
I think Dabo is the right Hire, he is proven multiple times to build a dynasty program that can compete with SEC giants and win NC in a B- level conference. He is the right hire with Venables in company. Haters gonna hate but besides Jimbo, Dabo is the only other power profile option with no buy out clause.

Yeah, you probably should give thinking a rest for a bit.
You don't pay $16M to fire an unranked coach, just to hire a coach at $12M that is also unranked. One who is unranked, despite having all the kids he personally signed to play within his system.
By year end Dabo, Franklin, Kiffin, Matt Campbell, Napier, Stoops, and Fleck are very likely to be unranked.

I don’t get the Jimbo love that many have here. He has one NC. So what? So does Ed Orgeron, Les Miles, and Chizik. He’s been mediocre at A&M at best. Why are people convinced he would do so much better here than he has at A&M? It’s not like A&M doesn’t have all the same advantages LSU has plus they have more money. A&M fans should be embarrassed by how poorly they have performed given the amount of money they have thrown at the program.

I’m hoping it’s Fickell. Would be a hard sell to get him to leave Ohio but nobody talks about him anymore outside of this board. And the chatter has died down a ton around his name on here as well.

First off this thread got some people talking which is good.
But, I have no idea why yall are leaching on Jimbo Fishers old nutsack.
Shows how shallow minds are today towards true leadership ability. We won NC with grass eating lama les miles and ham samich Ed O. LSU has talent and always will, but to have a dynasty like an Alabama or Clemson of recent. You have to have a coach who will build respect and honor back into the
program.
Not someone who allows his players to go live and talk about grabbing her in the P!
Yall are looking for quick NC's instead of long term stability and dynasty vision. Dabo, Lincoln Riley, Fickel or PJ Fleck are the guys who can do that today. Anyone else is too old, too much hype and or not proven enough to take a top 5 football HC job.
