Hello Who Dats & Who Datettes & welcome to the Week 8/Game 7 Thread.
It's this team again.
Everyone remembers what happened last season when the Saints played Tampa Bay. In the 2 regular season match-ups, the Saints dominated and it was Tom Brady left wondering what had gone wrong. But in the playoffs, it was the Saints that had no answer as the Bucs rolled to becoming the first team to win the Super Bowl in their home stadium.
With Tampa the defending Super Bowl champions and already up a game and a half on the rest of the division and Drew Brees now in the retirement home known as the NBC studio show, this is Tampa's chance to take control of the NFC South and make it hard for the Saints to make it 5-straight division titles.
The Saints are coming off of a Monday night victory that was tough to watch, but a victory nonetheless. The Saints defense that is having to conjure up memories of the Dome Patrol is getting even more help today as David Onyemata returns from his 6-game suspension to help with a pass rush that sacked Geno Smith 5 times last week. Can Onyemata, Davenport, & Jordan get to the statue known as Tom Brady while shutting down LSU's Leonard Fournette?
Speaking of players back in the line-up... hello Mark Ingram. The Saints reunited the most popular running back duo in team history this week by trading with the Texans for the former Crimson Tide runner and pairing him up once again with his Volunteer brother Alvin Kamara. That should certainly take some of the load off of Kamara, who has been almost the entire the Saints offense up to this point. We still need a wide receiver or 2 though. Unfortunately, we lost a starting offensive lineman as Andrus Peat went on injured reserve this week after having surgery to fix the pectoral injury he suffered on Monday night. Jameis Winston got to kneel out a win on the road in the regular season against his former team, then threw a touchdown in the playoffs against them, now can he get a win in his first start against the Bucs?
LET'S GET BACK IN THE DIVISION RACE AND SEND THE BUCS TO THE BRINY DEEP!!

Gronk active? Yikes
Mike Detillier talking like he expect Gronk to be used sparingly and really only be a threat in the red zone
