Antique Tiger ticker valuation

I have a ticket from 1924 that granted access to all LSU activities for the 1924-1925 season. I have it preserved and everything but am trying to figure out some valuation ideas for this for insurance purposes. I imagine this has some high value given the first year of football in Tiger Stadium was in 1924 so this is a season ticket in 1924. Anybody know who or where to get an appraisal or valuation on this?

Right here. It’s worth $3.50.

Jscrims,
It’s worth whatever sentimental value u place on it. Not a penny less.

In 1924 we had the Los Angeles pneumonic plague outbreak. I’m wondering if you had to get tested before entering the game and if you had to wear a mask. If so, that would make this ticket priceless.

I’d call the Andonie Museum on LSUs campus. They could give you more information on the ticket and put you in touch with the right people for valuation.

You have to go to a pawn shop in Vegas. They know a guy.

I love when people want to know what some piece of memorabilia is worth. It's worth what someone will pay for it. That's it. Find an idiot to give you a million and it's worth a million, if not, it ain't worth nuttin.

Probably not much
Various 1920’s era tickets on that aren’t directly tied to a famous play, player, or specific game are listed for like 20 bucks

That style of ticket (student ticket from the student season ticket booklet) is less desirable than a ticket to a specific game. Because of this, I would say it’s value would be no more than $100 as a single ticket. Had you had the entire booklet, perhaps a bit more. Single student tickets from the booklet, and even booklets with several tickets still attached, sell from $20-$100; this includes tickets from the 1930s-60. Because there may not be too many from the 1920s, I put the value around $100. Someone may pay more or less, though.
Also, the Andonie Museum has been permanently closed for some time.

Some people on the money board would be triggered by this title being so close to the name Ancient Tiger

This is interesting. It was an LSU season ticket for all LSU sporting events in the 1924-1925 seasons. It was essentially a student season ticket to all events. I have no idea if there were even individual tickets available. It was the first year of Tiger Stadium so I assumed there was some value since it was almost 100 years old and the inaugural season for Tiger Stadium.
This is a family heirloom so there is no chance I’m selling it, just wondering the value and if I need to get better insurance on it if it is worth something more.

He could’ve worded it nicer, but he’s right. You might find someone willing to pay $15-20, but for the uniqueness of an item like that, I would hold onto it instead of selling it for what would amount to beer money.
