Stingley either needs to play through it or return in 2022

It’s unacceptable for an elite recruit like him to come in and only play one whole season and then mail it in.

So either play through the nagging injury and help us make a bowl, or shut it down and be ready first day of spring practice 2022.

I know this is a rant but this is the Rant. I’m sick of these guys bailing when things get rough and going to the garbage nfl as soon as they can.

He doesn’t “NEED” to do anything. He can sit out the rest of the year, heal up, and be a Top 10 pick in the draft.

That’s the exact attitude that’s destroying college sports and specifically hurting LSU.

We need a culture change so it’s taboo to even think it.

When your best player is that “soft”
It affects the whole team for sure. Or at least the defensive side of the ball

It’s not really hurting other schools. Blame our current staff if you want to blame something.

And what would you do in his shoes? Come back for a lost season to play for a staff that’s on their way out and risk furthering injuring yourself and screw up your future? I doubt you would.

If the injury is legitimate, rehab for my junior season.

SO do you know for a fact that he just had a "nagging" injury? You know for a fact that it wasn't serious?

You don't. Because I do know that the injury he had required surgery and there wasn't a damned thing he could do about it, regardless if the team was 8-0 or 0-8.

But some of you keyboard warriors think it is ok to shite on a kid even though you know nothing about his situation.

Then his dad should get on the radio and make it known he’s getting healthy for 2022 at LSU.

He had surgery, I don’t even think he CAN come back this year.

Isn’t it a lisfranc injury?

That’s one rumor but it hasn’t been confirmed by either camp.

If it is, then like I said by all means get healthy but play your junior season.

Players get hurt it’s part of football. He had a damn surgery on his foot. He’s going to be a Top 15 draft pick he’s leaving and he should.

You want player to play with a foot injury that requires surgery?

That’s not what I said. I said if it’s a legit injury then rehab it for next season in college.

It should be taboo to think about leaving early.
